Saw a much smaller murmuration at Shenley Church End during the early part of the 1970’s. Even though it was less intense than this one it was still a wonderous display and I’ve never forgotten the beauty and the power of it. What a glorious experience it must have been for these two young women – a living and powerful prayer from Mother Nature.
