(Photo captured moments before the total eclipse from Sylva, North Carolina, USA, August 21st, 2017)

💕🦋❤️🌏 Earlier this week, I was blessed to have arrived safely in Sylva NC to witness and pray beneath the total eclipse. If you wished to have been in totality, please know I was there for you, too.

I burned sacred sage in gratitude to our ancestors.
Sage smoke in gratitude for everything we are–humans connected to our one earth.
Burned Sage on my knees praying to all of our Gods –and seeming missing ones–dedicated to all we can do to love each other and heal one another and our beautiful finite planet.
Burned sacred sweetgrass to bring in the new world, the healing powers of love and sacred listening. Burned sweetgrass for our progeny.
Sweetgrass for the strength, courage, patience, creativity and powers we need.

Burned sage and sweetgrass for peace peace peace.
Peace in our 💕s.
Peace in our homes.
Peace in our towns.
Peace in our countries.
Peace on our continents.
Peace on earth as it is in heaven, peace on earth.
Amen. Shalom. Salaam. Namaste. Blessed be. Love. 💕❤️🦋

To gift forward in the spirit of Joyfuel, consider how you can use your energy and your gifts/talents to bring about greater JOY and KINDNESS in the world. comment below and share.

my gratitude to Sirgun Kaur for her permission to include her song, Bliss (I am the Light of my Soul) with Sat Darshan Singh, featuring Yogi Bhajan’s mantra.

and I am grateful to YOU for witnessing this prayer.

❤ ☼ Joyfuel was offered in December 2014 to mid January 2015, as a homeplay ecourse –in gratitude for my life and the healing journey I’ve been on the past 8 years. If this work is meaningful, I aspire to find a publisher to advocate for–and activate–greater JOY in our world. ☼ ❤

The Sea, by Kahlil Gibran

In the still of the night
As man slumbers behind the folds,
the forest proclaims:

    “I am the power
Brought by the sun from
The heart of the earth.”

The sea remains quiet, saying to itself,

    “I am the power.”

The rock says,

“The ages erected me as a monument
Until the Judgment Day.”

The sea remains silent saying to itself,

    “I am the monument.”

The wind howls

    “I am strong,
I separate the heavens from the earth.”

The sea remains quiet, saying to itself,

    “The wind is mine.”

The river says

    “I am the pure water
That quenches the thirst of the earth.”

The sea remains silent saying to itself,

    “The river is mine.”

The summit says,

“I stand high like a star
In the center of the sky.”

The sea remains quiet saying to itself,

    “The summit is mine.”

The brain says,

    “I am a ruler;
The world is in those who rule.”‘

The sea remains slumbering saying, in its sleep,

    “All is mine.”
