the birds
are singing
creating sounds
of heavenly bliss.

without fail tire or demand
hear
they go again
greeting the sun
before her earth-bound kiss.

for whom do they sing?

if they were to forget
–to oversleep–
or to deny themselves
such beauty release
would the sun go out?

glory escapes into the world
joy unleashed
through each transcendent note.

oh to live life
in bird way:
undemanding
unassuming
giving
being
wild
singing.
