dear ones,
Just thinking, what would Mother Theresa’s work have been like if she had charged money for her kindness and work instead of invited gifts of support?
How might the impact she made have been different?
Would she have been able to serve more or fewer people?
Might she have been able to love and reduce the suffering of a greater number or people or less?
I wonder how the world would be if more of us risked the logic of money to live in a space of trust, what would our world look like? Would more people suffer, or fewer? Would more people animate towards cultivating their personal gifts, or less?
Does money define humanity? Is aspiring towards money the most important idea or value of all?
If not, where do you notice/see/find that money isn’t the highest value/priority?
If so, where do you notice/see/find that to be true?
What is truly more important than money to you?
Just pondering these mindpebbles… wondering. I have a few perspectives but really many more questions than answers….
What do you think or feel about this topic? I’d love to know. hit reply to comment below. we have so much to learn from each other.

Hi Rebecca,
One wonders about life when one reads your questions and thoughts. Would it be nice that we all behave like Mother Theresa? Unfortunately, each one of us becomes very selfish and look for our personal wellbeing, disregarding the rest of the world.
I have thought about all these aspects of life many times, particularly when we continue aging.
I have more questions and no suggestions.
Best regards,
Guillermo
Thank you dear Guillermo. I greatly appreciate your reflections, especially as we are aging.
I recently was read a poem by a complete stranger and friend. Rumi, that spoke to my heartmind, that perhaps you might enjoy.
The people of this world are like the three butterflies in front of a candle’s flame.
The first one went closer and said:I know about love.
The second one touched the flame lightly with her wings and said:
I know how love’s fire can burn.
The third one threw herself into the heart of the flame and was consumed.
She alone knows what true love is.
